Junk and Debris Removal in Richmond Hill
Junk and debris removal for homeowners, landlords and builders with a yard, garage or site full of material to clear. We load it, haul it and sort what can be recycled, across Richmond Hill and nearby towns.
How we do it
Not every job starts with a building. The photos on this page show the other side of our work: household junk stacked onto a haul truck, a crew member wheeling debris up a ramp, a backyard cleared of boxes and old boards, and machines loading teardown debris into trailers and bins.
For household clear-outs, the crew does the lifting. Furniture, boxes, old appliances, fencing, lumber and yard waste are carried out by hand and loaded onto the truck, and we sweep up when the space is empty. You do not need to bring anything to the curb first.
For construction debris, a machine does most of the work. A mini excavator or loader picks up the pile and places it in a bin or trailer, which saves hours of hand loading and keeps the crew out of the way of sharp material. We place bins where they will not block a neighbour's driveway.
Some items cannot go in a regular load. Paint, solvents, propane tanks, batteries and anything containing refrigerant need separate handling, and York Region has depots for household hazardous waste. We will tell you at the start what needs to go separately so there are no surprises on the day, and we can point you to the nearest drop-off.
Wherever it makes sense, we separate metal, wood, concrete and clean fill so they can be recycled instead of going to landfill. If the clean-up comes after a teardown, it naturally follows site clearing, and slabs or walkways left behind are handled under concrete removal.

Questions from Richmond Hill homeowners
- What can't you take?
- Paint, solvents, propane tanks, batteries and items with refrigerant need separate handling. York Region runs depots for household hazardous waste, and we tell you at the start what needs to go that way.
- Do I have to move things to the curb?
- No. The crew carries everything out from where it sits, including from basements, garages and backyards.
- Do you recycle?
- Where possible. Metal, clean wood, concrete and fill are separated so they can go to recyclers instead of landfill.
- Can you clear a construction site between trades?
- Yes. Builders use us to clear debris between stages so the next trade can start on a clean site.
