Not sure what demolition service to choose?
Describe the change you want before choosing a trade label. “Make this room ready for a new kitchen” tells us more than “demolition needed”. You can use the short form without knowing whether the work is a strip-out, partial removal or debris collection.

Separate the decisions
Separate the visible result from the method. If the room should keep its walls but lose cabinets, say that. If you only need a pile collected, say the material is already detached. If your plan depends on opening a wall, leave its construction and structural role as unknown rather than calling it non-load-bearing.
What to explain next
Start with the room or outdoor area, the items you hope to remove and what must remain usable. Select “Help me choose” in the planner when several services seem relevant. A site assessment can then resolve the unknowns; the form does not approve the method or accept the job.
An example, not a completed job
Put the uncertainty into words
“We want an open dining area, but do not know whether the dividing wall can be removed. Please assess the wall before including removal.”
- What change do you want to use the space for?
- Which items are already loose and which are fixed?
- Which parts of the decision are still unknown?
Choose your next step
Use the short enquiry, or organise what you know in the optional three-step planner. You can leave uncertain details for assessment. The form does not accept attachments.
Find your next project decision
Compare what stays, what comes out and what the next contractor needs. You can use the short enquiry at any point.
